This modern spa-inspired master suite addition in Woodland Hills transforms a narrow footprint into a spacious retreat. The bathroom features a grand wet area with a freestanding tub, skylit vaulted ceilings, and luxurious finishes like book-matched porcelain slabs and Kohler digital fixtures. A custom walk-in closet includes an LG steam system, display cabinetry, and his-and-hers shoe towers, while the cozy bedroom blends craftsman charm with shiplap ceilings and abundant natural light.
This remodeling project involved a full renovation of the kitchen, two bathrooms, and the playroom. The kitchen was gutted, and the wall between the kitchen and dining area was removed to create an open-concept space. Additional windows were added to the exterior wall, allowing natural light to flood the room and offering views of the backyard pool area. A small bar seating area was incorporated into the cabinetry, featuring a stone countertop with a waterfall edge.
This modern tropical backyard remodel blends bold colors, lush textures, and sleek materials to create a vibrant retreat. From the polished concrete floors of the ADU to the striking orange kitchen and the poolside tiki bar, every element balances laid-back luxury with playful charm—perfect for both relaxing and entertaining.
When our client purchased this house, it straddled a traditional interior and a 90s modern structure. We implemented a calm beige color scheme with clean lines and consistent materials to unify the spaces. The guest bathrooms feature Cloe zellige-style tiles and custom white oak vanities, which also enhance the built-in TV wall and kitchen island. To address the kitchen’s proportions, we added a secondary line of wall cabinets for balance. The master bathroom offers a true walk-in suite with porcelain semi-slab treatment, achieving a seamless look without the added cost. Kohler fixtures in modern gold finish complete this beautifully remodeled home.
